Sponsorship Opportunities

Sponsorship and support of the Oyster Festival comes in many forms, each bringing its own rewards to the sponsor or to the beneficiaries - the local community.

The success of the Oyster Festival and its promotion locally and nationally provides locally based business with the perfect opportunity to put something back into the community whilst at the same time aligning itself with something that is quintessentially wholesome and unique to Whitstable.

Financial support is obviously very important for the Festival to cover the varied costs of stewarding and insurances, but so is support in kind, whether it be assisting in running events, providing venues or parking, refreshments or just being a friendly face to guide visitors.

The heart of any town lies in its community, its town centre and the places where people collect to share a common interest. The shops, businesses, societies, clubs and churches that make up this community, together with the nature of the Whitstable Natives, give Whitstable those contrasting elements that appeal to so many visitors.

The Whitstable Oyster Festival provides the platform for these sections of our community to showcase their talent, skill and pride of our town in individual and joint projects. By supporting these events you are helping to keep the community vibrant and healthy.

Sponsorship deals vary from sponsoring an event down to supplying a few footballs or hi-vis vests - whatever suits you and helps out. In return you'll get mentioned in the Programme (+20,000 copies), on the Festival websites and in the local newspapers. In addition to this exposure last year the Festival was covered in the quality national press, glossy magazines, regional television and radio broadcasts.

If you feel that you wish to help support the community of the town where you or your employees live, or provides your income, then let us know via our Contact page.

We can also supply, on request, a Sponsors Brochure outlining the opportunities and gains for your business. Alternatively call Mair Stratton on 07712 529882 or Brian Baker on 07771 630056.
